Linda Monette is the Co-Founder and Co-Principal of Total Office Solutions, LLP. She and her husband, Michael, launched the company in 1987 with a vision to build something different, with a sustainable and long-term future. Nearly four decades later, Total Office Solutions has evolved into a thriving group of brands, offering turnkey commercial relocation services, including furniture planning and procurement, IT solutions and technology integration, and facility services that extend to decommissioning and liquidation of assets.
Linda is widely respected for her calm, intentional, and focused leadership style. She’s helped lead Total Office Solutions through periods of rapid growth, maintaining a firm grip on the business’s strategy, finances, and culture. Her talent for leadership, combined with an impressive work ethic that leads by example, helped lay the solid foundation on which the company operates to this day.
Under her direction, Total Office Solutions has expanded in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston with their full suite of turnkey “Anywhere” companies, including Move Solutions, Office Furniture Plus, TechTeam Solutions, and Corporate Source. Linda’s contributions have brought proven processes, procedures, and discipline to all phases of the company. Over time, she has ensured that each brand reflects her steadfast commitment to quality, accountability, and partnership.
As a woman-owned and led business, Total Office Solutions proudly holds credentials from NAWBO, WBENC, HUB, GSA, and TXMAS. These designations reflect more than just eligibility; they exemplify Linda’s strong belief in fairness, accessibility, and inclusion. Linda has a long history of building loyal teams of people who stay, grow, and thrive under her mentorship. Of the nearly 300 employees who call Total Office Solutions home, almost one-third have been there for 10-20 consecutive years, and each of the current department heads has 10-15 years with the company.
Linda and Michael are firm believers in giving back to the community where they live, work, and play. Both are fond of Winston Churchill’s famous quote, “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” In that spirit, TOS has partnered with more than 25 beneficiaries at both the local and national levels. But perhaps none are as special to them as the annual Toys for Tots drive, in which Total Office Solutions leads all North Texas companies in the effort to ensure everyone has a Christmas. Beginning in 2025, the company expanded its warehouse space for collections in the region to 25,000 square feet.
Today, Linda continues to lead with the same core values that have shaped the company from its inception: integrity, resilience, and the belief that doing things the right way will always matter. Being a family-owned company comes with its own special opportunities, and Linda and her husband are dedicated to seeing their two adult daughters eventually assume succession-based leadership roles with Total Office Solutions.
