TOS VP of Global Accounts Megan Monette recently had the opportunity to attend a panel discussion hosted by the Ladies in CRE about what’s getting built in DFW.
According to Megan, the most interesting aspect of the conversation was how quickly the conversation shifted from development to infrastructure. While it seems everyone wants to talk about growth, the real challenge begins when you need to build ongoing support.
Megan offered her assessment of the panel discussion by stating, “Whether you’re in development, construction, brokerage, project management, furniture, moving, or workplace strategy, we’re all feeling the ripple effects of the same thing: DFW isn’t slowing down. It was great hearing from leaders who are in the middle of these projects every day and willing to share what’s actually happening – not just the headlines.”
LiCRE members who served as panelists included: Yasmine Heurta, VP of Carrco Painting, Stephen McDaniel, director of development for Lineage Legacy Partners, Marianne Scheer, project designer with O’Brian Architects, Tyler Ross, VP of Interiors with Structure Tone (who also served as the event’s sponsor), Alexandra McMyler, CEO of Archer Specialties, and Will Pender, regional president of Adolfson & Peterson Construction.
