How do you say 30 years’ worth of ‘thank you’?

Thirty years ago this year, Michael and Linda Monette started Move Solutions, Ltd. (Move Solutions, Inc. at that time) on their second date. Today Move Solutions, Ltd., the service provision platform for Total Office Solutions, LLP family of companies, is one of the five largest office moving companies in the United States; widely recognized and respected within the industry, more successful than ever, and in “pedal to the metal” growth mode. Employing over three hundred people, owning and leasing over three hundred thousand square feet of commercial space, and celebrating thirty years of success, we operate our business as the “Industry Good Guys”. We provide all of the real insurances, not alternates to Workers Comp, actually employ people instead of using contractors, have never laid off one single employee, never missed a paycheck or a payment, operate debt free, and believe in the words “stable” and “predictable”.

Along the way we worked out of a car and spare bedroom, then out of a borrowed building at Field and Ross, now FedEx, and then out of a “one hallway” space in the Terre Colony Distribution Center, grew to offices in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and now North Dallas and the Dallas Design District. We developed Move Solutions, Ltd., then created Corporate Source, Ltd., a Kimball contract furniture dealership, then created Furniture Solutions Now, Ltd., a “middle – little” client pre-owned and affordable office furniture dealership focusing on short lead times, great economics, free design and fast delivery. We developed a broad and loyal nationwide client base as we grew to appreciate our friends in the property management community; friends like IREM.

Our great joy is competition and success. Having recently moved the Dallas Cowboys, been selected as the Toyota move supplier, working extensively with Liberty Mutual, just completed The Richards Group, and on and on, we know we are blessed. We work to pass that blessing on by being serious and consistent employers to one of the most eclectic work groups in America and by giving back to the nonprofit community in just about every shape and form.
